Overview
Integrate Linear with ScoutOS to streamline engineering workflows and issue management. Agents can create issues, update statuses, search tickets, and help coordinate development work without manual ticket creation.
Prerequisites
- Linear workspace with API access
- Linear API key or OAuth credentials
- Appropriate team and project permissions
- Workspace configured for agent access
How to use this integration
As an Agent Tool:
- Go to the Integrations page in your Scout Dashboard
- Select Linear and add your credentials
- Navigate to Agent Settings for your desired agent
- Click Add Tool and select Linear actions (create issues, update status, etc.)
- Your agent can now manage Linear tickets automatically
As a Workflow Block:
- Create a new Scout workflow
- Click Add Block and select Linear
- Connect your Linear credentials
- Configure issue creation or update operations
- Chain Linear blocks with other steps for automated issue management
